Baby Buttons Morning Circle is a small, nurturing gathering for mothers and their little ones under 18 months.

Held fortnightly on Wednesday mornings, this circle offers a calm and rhythmic space to slow down, connect, and be together in a gentle way.

Our mornings include simple songs, a short circle time, free play, shared morning tea, and small handcrafts, all held in a peaceful and unhurried environment.

This is not a busy playgroup… it is a community and a place to land.

Why Baby Buttons Was Born

Baby Buttons was created as a gentle doorway into community.

In those early months of motherhood, there can be a longing for connection, rhythm, and a place to simply be without pressure or expectation.

This circle was born to meet that moment.

It offers:

• a quiet space for mothers to gather
• a simple rhythm for babies to settle into
• and a bridge into the wider Billy Buttons playgroup when the time feels right

It is the beginning of something… not rushed, not overwhelming, just a gentle unfolding rhythm.

What to Expect

Each gathering is held with simplicity and care.

You can expect:

• a warm, welcoming atmosphere
• a consistent, gentle rhythm each session
• natural materials and calm play spaces
• optional hand craft and journal writing
• space for conversation and connection
• no pressure to “do” — simply to arrive as you are

Babies are held and comforted as needed.
Older siblings are welcome with family bookings, with the understanding that the space is calm and guided.

Our Setting

Baby Buttons Morning Circle is held in a warm and welcoming home environment at the house of creative learning in Port Lincoln.

Our space is thoughtfully prepared with natural materials, soft textures, and simple, open-ended toys to invite calm, imaginative play. You’ll find rugs underfoot, baskets within reach, and a gentle atmosphere that supports both rest and quiet exploration.

Whenever possible, we allow the morning to flow between indoor and outdoor spaces, connecting with fresh air, natural light, and the rhythm of the season.

Everything is kept intentionally simple… creating a space where babies can settle, older siblings can move gently, and mothers can feel at ease.

Fees

Baby Buttons Morning Circle is held at 6 Park Terrace in Port Lincoln, gathering fortnightly on Wednesday mornings from 9:45am to 11:15am, beginning on the 20th of May. The cost is $25 for a parent and child, or $35 for families with additional siblings. Morning tea and all materials are included. Places are kept limited to maintain a calm and intimate atmosphere.
