Have you heard of crayon resist painting before? Essentially you draw patterns with crayon first, when you then add paint, the crayon markings resist the paint and the magic patterns show through. Using a white crayon adds an element of ‘magic’. As what appears to be a normal white piece of paper is actually encoded with some magical markings. I remember doing these as a kid and absolutely loving them, so much! The boys and I usually do this activity in seasonal bursts using watercolours that match the season we are currently in. Being autumn in Easter was a perfect opportunity to
